The Sustainability Report for 2023 has been published
At Kalundborg Refinery, we are aware that our activities affect our surroundings, and we therefore have a strong focus on running the refinery in an environmentally responsible manner. Every year, we publish a Sustainability Report documenting our social, safety and environmental performance, as well as significant events from the year.
At Kalundborg Refinery, we are aware that our activities affect our surroundings, and we therefore have a strong focus on running the refinery in an environmentally responsible manner. We are continuously working to pursue ways to reduce our emissions and create a greener product portfolio in order to deliver the products that the market demands.
Every year, we publish a sustainability report documenting our social, safety and environmental performance, as well as significant events from the year.
About the Sustainability Report
The Sustainability Report for 2023 has just been published and aims to inform authorities, neighbors, employees and other potential stakeholders about the refinery’s activities during the year 2023.
The Sustainability Report has been prepared on the basis of the applicable reporting requirements in section 99a of the Danish Financial Statements Act. In addition, the report contains a verification statement from the independent auditor, DNV, which has audited the stated environmental data as well as environmental and energy targets.
The report begins with a foreword by Kalundborg Refinery’s CEO, Claus Navntoft, followed by basic data and an introduction of the company. Finally, there is a section on the refinery’s sustainable activities as well as specific environmental goals and data.
